The price is valid for a 12 hours trip performed by the same bus (license plate number) and amount of passengers.
Valid for:
- The return trip at the Øresund Bridge must take place latest 12 hours after the outbound trip and the
Scandlines return trip latest 15 hours after the arrival the outbound trip.- All trips need to be performed on the same calendar day.
- Only available for outbound trips from German ports in connection with Øresund Bridge crossing.
- Not valid for empty or transfer busses or for line bus services.

The price is valid for a 2 day return trip performed by the same bus and amount of passengers. The return trip must take place the day after the outbound trip. Only available in low season for both departure days. Not valid for empty or transfer busses or for line bus services.

What will be booked if...
an empty bus on the outward journey, but a full one sails back?
Two single crossings / single tickets will be booked. The 1- and 2-Day Return ticket as well as the Round trip ticket are not valid for empty or transfer busses or for line bus services.

- Please include the following specific information:
- Date for trip
- Departure time
- Which route and travel direction
- Length of the bus incl. possible trailer
- Number of persons
- Any customer ID
- Please also confirm the final passenger numbers at least one week before departure to the Service Centre by e-mail.
- Please notice that in case the total vehicle is longer or if the bus arrives with more passengers than booked, Scandlines might not guarantee the bus space on the booked departure.

Free meals for bus drivers and guides at the Rostock-Gedser and Puttgarden-Rødby crossings
with 15-25 paying guests: 1 x free meal for one driver or guide
with 26-35 paying guests: 2 x free meal for one drivers or guides
with 36+ paying guests: 3 x free meal for one drivers or guides -
- 5 days before the booked departure.
- Cancellation in writing is free of charge until 4 days before the booked departure. After that the booked number will be invoiced to full price.

If the ferry is canceled and you wish to rebook your ticket, please contact customer service by sending an email to gruppen@scandlines.com with your booking number.

If your departure is cancelled, you can use your ticket for another departure. You will be placed on the first available departure.
This applies to all tickets.
Of course, you won't pay any fees or surcharges to catch a different departure if the ferry is cancelled.

If the ferry is cancelled, you can use your Rostock-Gedser ticket for the Puttgarden-Rødby crossing. You will be accommodated on the first available departure. There is no fee for changing the route if the ferry is cancelled.
At check-in in Puttgarden-Rødby, you must provide your booking number and show your ticket to the ticket inspector at check-in, informing them that it needs to be changed from Rostock-Gedser to Puttgarden-Rødby.
It is important that the ticket is changed and that a new one is not issued to avoid being charged for the same journey twice.

Yes, we will refund your unused ferry ticket if a departure is cancelled, and of course we do this at no extra charge.

Note: If you use the ticket at another port or for a different departure, the ticket cannot be refunded. If you travel using the ticket from another port, it is important that the ticket is changed and not reissued to avoid being charged for the same journey twice.

You will of course be refunded your unused ticket for cancelled departures, but unfortunately this does not happen automatically.
Write to gruppen@scandlines.com and provide your booking number to get a refund for your unused ferry ticket. Your booking number can be found in your booking confirmation email.
Please note:
- Customer service receives many emails when departures are cancelled, but we will process your refund as soon as we can.
- Once customer service has refunded your ticket, it can take up to 10 business days before you have the money in your account.
